With the most recent update to Kinja with the captions for photos, it’s become impossible to reorder the photos once they’re added to the post. With Kinja being Kinja, they never post in the order they should anyways, so it’s just too damn hard. Does anyone have suggestions as to what other site or medium I could use to post coverage from events? (The photos are all on my Flickr)

Bummer man, I always enjoy your photos. I’m afraid I can’t offer any help on reordering images beyond selecting the image and any text below it as a whole and cutting and pasting...(No idea if that’ll work, I haven’t played with new Kinja yet).
Otherwise, I might suggest keeping up the Kinja posts with a smaller number of your favourite images (maybe 10 or so, placed as or after you write to avoid needing to reorder) and a link to the relevant Flickr album at the end. I’d enjoy that and still click through to the full set. It would also maintain people’s ability to comment on and enjoy your stuff here.

I loved before how you could cut and paste an image in a different place and it would work out just fine, but I can’t seem to cut any images at all now.

I hope you don’t mind but I’ve taken the liberty of adding the Kinja Help tag to the title and post in the hopes of attracting the techs for an answer. I imagine the copy/paste functionality is something the editors of the main sites would miss as well so maybe there’s something in the works.

Well that sucks, I’ll miss your shots here. The new update sucks on mobile because it has huge icons for Facebook and Twitter at the bottom of the page at all times, neither of which I give a shit about. Kinja: Breaking shit that works.

Maybe a Wordpress blog and then link it here with a few of the best images.
Or Flickr and link here.
